" I have become all things to all men that some might be saved through the preaching of the Word."

Pastor Ron and Will made the list for the
"Top Five Believers Everyone Should Know"
~ Read the SA Worship article ~

Cowboy Preacher Ron Moore blends spiritual truth with practical, life-changing applications. You can count on him to preach the balanced and uncompromised gospel in a plain spoken manner.

The next time you're ridin' out our way, come and join us as we reach out to folks with the message that God loves them and has a plan and purpose for their lives.

Will, his Australian Red Heeler, is Ron's right- hand cowdog.

Often they share their poetry with the folks at Cowboy Church where Will is a "charter member" and sits by Ron's side while he's preaching.. Occasionally he'll tell a joke or quote one of his favorite Bible verses.

Pastor Ron picks his guitar to add a little background music for their poetry.

In their daily work with horses and cattle, the Lord has given Ron what is called, "Christian Cowboy Poetry".  This brand of poetry presents the gospel in a unique and humorous way and it encourages Christians to be bolder witnesses.

In the past, Ron and Will were often "on the road" ministering to groups of all kinds, from church services, to family reunions, rodeos, cowboy camp meetings, and poetry gatherings.

Ron grew up in Silver City, New Mexico where he worked on local ranches. In high school he bought a practice horse, and started riding saddle broncs. Jerri caught his eye as a rodeo queen and reiner while in high school and they were married while Ron was at New Mexico State University on a rodeo scholarship.

After graduation they headed down the road with their two children for several years while Ron was riding saddle broncs professionally.

Eventually they moved from southern Colorado to Texas to "get out of the snow". Since then their family has been extended with the marriage of their daughter Jodi to a fine young Texan rancher named Fred. Their son, Monty, is a helicopter pilot for the Texas National Guard and works in Dallas.
