Pull up a chair or just hang out on the back fence... folks like the laid back atmosphere of Cowboy Church.
True to the rich western heritage of the area we like to do everything up in the authentic cowboy style. Pastor Ron preaches horseback on occasion and our baptisms take place in a horsetrough.

We seek to live out this scripture at Cowboy Church through intercessory prayer by concerned brothers and sisters as well as mens' and women's fellowships, the Prayer Posse, and our Helpin' Hands Ministry.


Decor is worn saddles, brindle cowhides and lighting comes from rusty kerosene lanterns wired for electricity. Folks drop their offerings in an old west style strongbox. Morning treats are served from an covered wagon complete with chuckbox and chipped gray graniteware coffee pots to keep the coffee hot on chilly days here in the Texas Hill Country.

Thousand Hills Cowboy Church's Music Ministry leads us in worship with guitars, mandolin, drums and the fiddle.

Knowing that our children are our heritage from the Lord, we are fully committed to making sure they get a good solid start.

Special western style barns are set up just for the younger set. There's a nursery class for for children from birth to 5 years and Kids Korral for the older ones. We're so grateful for dedicated and anointed teachers who make sure these lil buckaroos start hiding the Word of God in their hearts at an early age.
Thousand Hills Cowboy Church was established in Kerrville eight years ago as an outreach of Calvary Temple Church which is pastored by Del Way.
